The combination of a 9 p.m. tip, two rival fan bases, and a dramatic Game 6 meant Knicks and 76ers fans were on their worst behavior Thursday night.
Two separate videos showed fans acting hostile toward each other at Wells Fargo Arena during the Knicks’ 118-115 victory over the 76ers.
One video from the Philadelphia Inquirer A person who appears to be a Knicks fan is seen being stopped by a security guard as he attempts to approach a person who appears to be a 76ers fan at the entrance to Sections 117 and 118.
The reporter who filmed the film posted the video with the caption, “Wells Fargo Center was super loud tonight. I saw Knicks fans being kicked out of the arena…at halftime 😂.” Previously, “As I said, it’s super rough😂”
“Oh my god” and “Oh my god” as a large man in denim shorts was pushed back by five security guards, with fans filming the moment on their cellphones. Shouted out.
As fans were pushed back, others yelled, “Get him out of here!” and one fan, in perhaps the clip’s truly hilarious moment, yelled, “Bad Heald!”
Fans erupted in applause as they were forcibly removed from the concourse.
The second video shows what happened after a Knicks fan was rung by a group of 76ers fans (a Philadelphia pun).
X user @gregarmstrong01, who calls himself a Knicks fan, captioned the video: “They’re freaking out because they got their noses sucked right next to me.”

This video shows three particularly rowdy 76ers fans. Important elements to win the battle — Meanwhile, Philadelphia fans in fourth and fifth try to play peacemaker.
One of the instigators called Knicks fans a profane term referring to anatomical parts.
Below them was a group of four Knicks fans, and one fan who was apparently “gasped” eventually got up very slowly from an awkward angle.
Annoying Knicks fans seemed to keep saying, “That’s a cheap shot.”
The fan who was filming the video also appeared to try to diffuse the situation, shouting, “Stop it, bro!” We’re not here to fight, brother. ”
Perhaps the second round will be a little more peaceful for Knicks fans, as Indianapolis isn’t as convenient to visit and its Midwestern charm will probably lead to fewer arguments.
