Bryant spent four years on coach Tom Thibodeau’s staff.

Previously, he was with the Jazz, first in player development and then as an assistant coach, where he helped Mitchell develop into one of the best guards in the league.

According to ESPN, the Cavs also received permission to interview Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson, former Nets head coach and Pelicans assistant James Borrego and Heat assistant Chris Quinn.

Cleveland released J.B. Bickerstaff after losing to the Celtics in the second round.
