Knicks players celebrate with celebrities at an exclusive event

The Knicks wasted no time celebrating their series victory on Friday night.

Soon after defeating the Celtics, several team members gathered at Chez Margaux, a private club in the Meatpacking District, alongside various celebrities, as reported by Page 6.

Among those spotted at the club were Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges, who mingled with Timothée Chalamet, Russell Wilson, and Jordyn Woods.

Woods, 27, has been associated with Towns, 29, since 2020 and was seen sitting courtside at multiple Knicks games this season.

After the Knicks triumphed 119-81, Chalamet drew cheers from fans while in the backseat of a car, having to be pulled back in by security.

“The team really has this close-knit vibe! They just wanted to be together and celebrate,” one source mentioned.

Interestingly, despite the festive atmosphere, it seems the Knicks team members chose not to drink on Friday night.

“They were focused on celebrating their win without alcohol. Instead, they shared a bottle with fans,” the source added.

This victory has propelled the Knicks into the Eastern Conference Finals, where they’ll face off against the Pacers.

There’s some history between these two teams, with six playoff meetings occurring between 1993 and 2000.

In their most recent playoff encounter last season, the Pacers edged out the Knicks in a seven-game series.

“It’s going to be a challenging matchup,” Josh Hart remarked about the Pacers. “They play fast and capitalize on mistakes, so communication will be crucial for us.”

“We did well with communication today, and that’s something we can carry into the series. We need to stay prepared,” he added.
