Knicks’ trio makes franchise history offensive outputs in Game 2 win

The Knicks’ thrilling Game 2 victory featured a bit of history, with injuries, one player returning from injury, and a number of lead changes.

For the first time in Knicks franchise history, three players scored 25 or more points in a playoff game. According to Stat Mamba.

Jalen Brunson, who missed the second quarter with a foot injury, returned and scored 29 points in the Knicks’ 130-121 come-from-behind victory over the Pacers at the Garden on Wednesday night.

Fellow Villanova running mate Donte DiVincenzo scored 28 points.

And finally, OG Anunoby, who left the game after the third quarter with a left hamstring injury, scored 28 points.

Josh Hart also had 19 points and 15 rebounds for the Knicks.

With the win, the Knicks took a 2-0 lead in the seven-game Eastern Conference semifinal series.

Game 3 will be played Friday night in Indiana.
