The LPGA is at Sahalie Country Club in the Pacific Northwest for the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
After the first two tough days of matches, the top 60 players will play over the weekend.
Among the players in contention for the win is Lexi Thompson, who is tied for third place after shooting an even-par 72 on Friday. 4 under.
She’s trailing Sarah Schmelzel and Amy Yang, who signed with six-under 66. Ko Jin Young and Thompson will play in the penultimate group along with Ryu Hye Ran.
Other players to watch include Leona Maguire at three under and Madeleine Sagstrom and Allie Ewing at two under.
Charlie Hull, Maya Stark and Celine Boutier are all tied at 1 under par heading into moving day, and a strong third round performance could work in their favor. Moving day is an opportunity for all three women to move up the leaderboard and potentially grab a later tee time on Sunday.
