Republican South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem will join former President Donald Trump at a rally supporting Republican Ohio Senate candidate Bernie Moreno in Dayton, Ohio, on Saturday.
“Big news for my friend @berniemoreno!” Noem said in an X post on Wednesday.
“President Trump will be on the ground Saturday to help Bernie win the big leagues! I had a great time campaigning with Bernie in Ohio,” the governor continued. “And you heard it here first…I’m going to be joining them on Saturday!”

Noem’s announcement came days before a rally in Dayton, Ohio, on Saturday. The Trump campaign announced the rally in a press release, describing the former president as a “special guest speaker” at the Buckeye Values PAC rally. Doors to the event will open at noon ET, and the former president is scheduled to speak at 4 p.m. ET.

The rally comes less than a week before Tuesday’s Ohio Republican Senate primary, and Moreno continues to garner support and support. The businessman won another endorsement Tuesday from Sen. Ted Budd (R-North Carolina).
“Thank you @SenTedBuddNC for your support and support!” Moreno announced on social media, noting that more than a dozen conservative senators have officially endorsed him.
“I am honored that 15 leading conservative Republican U.S. senators have supported my campaign,” he said.

Some people continue to express support for Mr. Moreno as the election approaches.
Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), who endorsed “Political Outsider” in November, said Wednesday that “Ohio conservatives have exactly one choice in the 2024 U.S. Senate race — @ Bernie Moreno.”

Speaking to Breitbart News in July 2023, Moreno said the establishment opposes him because they know he is “unbuyable.”

“We have to change. Some people say, ‘We’re trying to change the way Washington, D.C. does things.’ And of course, if you’re in the establishment, that’s the worst-case scenario,” the Senate hopeful said, adding, “They don’t want that.”
“They like the way DC works,” he said of the establishment, stressing the need to “explode” it.
