“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp believes Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky could get back together.
The TV personality spoke candidly about her relationship with her co-star and her estranged husband. tell people On Tuesday, he said they were “good friends and still communicate.”
“I think it shows the love that's there. [is] Because it’s not typical of their families and their lives and who they are,” she said. “And, you know, no one knows what the future holds.”
Mellencamp, 43, added that Richards, 55, has been doing “amazing” during her separation from Umansky, 54, and wished them “the best of luck.”
“If you look at the history of other people who have had their ups and downs, I think they've done pretty well,” the Bravo star continued.
After 27 years of marriage, the “Buying Beverly Hills” alumnus and actress announced they would be separating in July 2023.
The news came as a shock to the couple's daughters Alexia, 28, Sofia, 24, and Portia, 16, as they first learned about their parents' separation through the media.
Richards also has a 35-year-old daughter, Farrah, with ex-husband Gleish Aljufri.
Richards and Umansky previously denied any wrongdoing in their relationship, but admitted it had been a “difficult” year.
Umansky has since been dating Nikita Khan, a Ukrainian-American model who they were spotted kissing at a Greek airport in July.
The following month, the pair were photographed relaxing at a luxury resort in Mexico.
Richards' sister, Kathy Hilton, told Page Six over the summer that when she first saw photos of Umanski and another woman, she went into a mental breakdown.
“I think it was a tough pill to swallow when you look at it,” Hilton said. “So what I'm trying to do is calm her down a little bit. 'You know, this was bound to happen. You broke up, didn't you?'
Umansky and Richards had each given the green light to date other people.
The “Halloween” star told Entertainment Tonight in February that she and her estranged husband are “free to do whatever they want.”
