“We said it, and we said it to the guys as we were waiting for the coin toss: Hey, check with the guys, check before you go, let the players know. When asked if that mattered, Shanahan said.new overtime rules. “So I asked my position coach to do that. But we didn’t bring it up in our Super Bowl week meeting. I don’t think it changes anything.”
