Kylie Kelce criticizes Cowboys before Thanksgiving game against Chiefs

Kyrie Kelce recently expressed her enthusiasm for her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, while also taking a jab at the Cowboys, the Philadelphia Eagles’ NFC East rivals.

She urged fans to refrain from supporting the Cowboys in their upcoming Thanksgiving Day game against the Chiefs—Travis’s team.

Speaking on her podcast, “Not Gonna Lie with Kyrie Kelce,” she didn’t hold back, questioning the Cowboys’ title of “America’s Team.”

“Let’s cheer for the Chiefs instead. Go, Uncle Trav,” she declared. “And honestly, I’m done with the whole idea that the Cowboys are America’s team. They can kiss my… well, you know the rest.”

The term “America’s Team” has been associated with the Cowboys since 1978, when NFL film producer Bob Ryan used it for a highlight reel.

The reel was famously narrated by voice-over legend John Facenda, who described the Cowboys as having a star power that resonates nationwide; they truly are the Dallas Cowboys, indeed “America’s team,” as he put it.

Kyrie is particularly invested in the matchup since it features the Chiefs facing off against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

Travis, a tight end for the Chiefs, is the brother of Kyrie’s husband, Jason Kelce, who plays for the Eagles.

During the podcast, she acknowledged Travis for recently breaking the Chiefs’ all-time touchdown record with a 21-yard catch, praising his achievement as a remarkable milestone. “It’s an impressive accomplishment,” she noted. “Very few can claim that honor.”
