Kylie Kelce refused to watch brother-in-law Travis play in Super Bowl 2024: ‘Superstition kicked in hard’

Kylie Kelce couldn’t bring herself to watch her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, play in Sunday’s Super Bowl, citing her own “superstitions.”

Kyrie refused to watch the football game in real time, even though he was in an expensive $1 million VIP suite at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas with other friends and family.

“At some point on Sunday, my superstition got really bad,” Kelce wrote on her Instagram Story Tuesday night.

She relied on observing her friends’ reactions throughout the thrilling overtime period, but was later photographed with her back turned from the field.

“I refused to watch the game, even on TV. @sarahhking_ is the real MVP. I just watched her reactions and stayed in the loop 🤣❤️”

Kyrie’s superstitious efforts seemed to work like a charm as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 to win the Super Bowl.

But the real life of the party seems to have ended up being Jason Kelce, whose booze-fueled antics at the afterparty went viral on social media.

Mahomes said a long night of celebration was expected as the NFL’s biggest game of the season will be held at a party in the country.
