Kylie Kelsey offered some playful advice to her husband Jason Kelsey after he made a NSFW joke during his “Monday Night Countdown” debut last week.
Instagram Post On Saturday, Kyrie reflected on the past few months with the 36-year-old former Eagles center, who joined the network this offseason and is scheduled to visit Lincoln Financial Field as an ESPN commentator on Monday.
“Training camp looked a little different this year and seeing you at Lincoln Stadium on Monday will be a little different too. Just know that my girls and I love cheering you on in this new chapter!” exclaimed Kylie, who has been married to Jason for six years and has three daughters with him.
“…Maybe I should try not to say boobs this week?”
Week 1 was a memorable experience for Kelce, who forgot his travel bag and ended up buying a shirt that was a little too tight before kickoff of the Jets-49ers game last Monday.
“I've lost a little bit of weight so my stomach fits better, but my chest still hurts,” Kelce said during a broadcast from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., where the Niners ultimately defeated the Jets, 32-19.
Kelce's brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, said on his brothers' podcast, “New Heights,” a few days later that he and girlfriend Taylor Swift were “laughing our heads off” over the gaffe.
“Me and Taylor were laughing our heads off watching it. It was a great way to let people know what they're going to be going through in the next 18 weeks,” Travis, 34, said on Wednesday's episode.
Kelce played 13 NFL seasons with Philadelphia before retiring in March. He joined Worldwide Leader this spring.
“I was very nervous, not knowing what to expect,” Kelsey said of her ESPN debut on Wednesday, “but I was prepared and ESPN had set everything up so well, and thankfully I realized I was on set with three other people who'd been there many times before.”
“… I was nervous. That's normal. I think the first time you do something, it's natural not to know what to expect. It was a lot of fun. I think you feel more comfortable when you're with people who've been there before and are really good at it.”
Kelce's former team, the Eagles, will host the Falcons on Monday Night Football to close out Week 2.
