The Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team has announced that it has officially accepted an invitation from President Donald Trump to visit the White House.

On Tuesday, the Dodgers team posted on social media about the invitation.
They are reportedly going to visit the White House on April 8th.th.
Timing is convenient as the team is already in DC at 7am due to the game scheduled for the day before.th.
“In line with the long-standing baseball tradition, President Trump invited the 2024 world champion Los Angeles Dodgers to the White House when he played in Washington, DC on April 7. The Dodgers look forward to visiting the White House and celebrating the title. Additionally, members of the Dodgers will visit Capitol Hill on April 8.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said ESPN It was a “great honor” to be invited to the White House by Trump.
“It's certainly a great honor to get an invitation to the White House. We can celebrate the 2024 championship. My understanding is that it's a great honor for all of us because every World Series champion gets that honor,” Roberts said.
In October 2024, the Dodgers won the title after beating the New York Yankees in 5th A game from the series.
