L.A. Firefighters Took 20 Minutes to Respond to Palisades Fire

Firefighters reportedly took 20 minutes to respond to the Palisades fire on January 7th. new york timesconfirmed sources have told Breitbart News over the past two weeks about the city's poor response.

Breitbart News heard from a local neighbor that a fire engine was located near the source of the fire, but a traffic accident forced a helicopter to land on a ridge above the Pacific Palisades where the fire occurred. Firefighters told Breitbart News that despite severe wind warnings, they were unable to fight ahead of the fire due to budget cuts by Mayor Karen Bass and the City Council, which curtailed the use of overtime pay for pre-deployment. He said he did not pre-deploy.
