L.A.’ & ‘Grosse Pointe Garden Society’ Picked Up To Series By NBC

NBC Pilot Suits: LA and Grosse Pointe Garden Association It was picked up to series by the network.

Suits: LA It stars Stephen Amell and is a spinoff of the USA Network original series that recently saw a resurgence in popularity while streaming on Netflix. It originally aired from 2011 to 2019.

according to deadlineAaron Korsh, creator of the original show, will return as writer and executive producer on the new project, which will be produced by UCP and Hypnotic.

According to the official logline, the show follows “Ted Black (Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York who is reborn as a lawyer representing some of Los Angeles’ most powerful clients. With his firm in crisis, in order to survive he must embrace a role he’s despised throughout his career. Ted is forced to intermingle his personal and professional lives as he finds himself surrounded by top-notch characters whose loyalties to him and to each other are tested.”

The series also stars Josh McDermitt, Rex Scott Davis and Bryan Greenberg, and is executive produced by David Bartis, Doug Liman and Jeanne Klein, with Victoria Mahoney also directing the pilot.

Produced by Universal Television and Minnesota Logging, the drama series follows four members of a suburban gardening club from diverse backgrounds who “find themselves embroiled in murder and mayhem as they strive to blossom into normal lives.”

Executive producers are Jenna Bans, Bill Krebs, Casey Kiber and Maggie Kiley (who also directed the pilot).
