The Los Angeles home of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson was the victim of a burglary that occurred in broad daylight.
Law Enforcement Sources Said According to news outlet TMZ, a Hollywood couple was the victim of a robbery a few weeks ago, when thieves broke into a guest house on their property by breaking glass.
The incident reportedly occurred during the day while the actor couple was out of town, and an alarm set off by broken glass failed to stop the burglars from entering.
The good news here is that the burglars didn’t get inside the main house, TMZ reports.
The news comes nearly two months after actress Goldie Hawn confessed she has security guards on “all the time” at her Los Angeles home following two robberies, suggesting she may join the growing throng of people leaving the “terrible” crime-ridden city for good.

The veteran Hollywood actress said she was in complete shock and “couldn’t believe” that the home she shares with fellow actor Kurt Russell had been targeted again.
“I couldn’t believe it. ‘What is going on here?'” she recalled.
Now Horn hires a 24-hour security guard to ensure he and his entire family are protected from harm in a city that is becoming notorious for its high crime rate.
“I always keep my guard up… especially when I’m alone,” she told Ripa.
