According to recent reports, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) CEO Janice Quiñones knew the Santa Ynez Reservoir was down and fire hydrants were not working.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Quiñones served as senior vice president at Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) from 2021 to 2023. The power company “has filed for bankruptcy over liability for several major wildfires in California,” the newspaper reported.
And, Daily Mail.com has learned that Quiñones' former employer has also been linked to the fire scandal. She was previously a top executive at PG&E, the power company that went bankrupt over responsibility for several major wildfires in California.
She served as senior vice president at Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) from 2021 to 2023.
The company's power lines sparked Dixie, the second-largest wildfire in California history, in 2021. PG&E paid a $13.5 billion legal settlement for its involvement in the 2018 Camp Fire.
