A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told FOX News Digital that a vehicle was destroyed after authorities responded to a report of a possible arson in the 2700 block of Glendower Avenue around 1 p.m. Monday. He was charged with two misdemeanor counts of tampering, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said.

Witnesses reportedly alerted the Los Angeles Police Department that a man who appeared to be homeless was setting fires in the area, but an LAPD spokesperson told Fox News Digital Caledron that no charges of arson have been filed against him. He said he has not done so. It's unclear exactly how Caledron's vehicle misconduct charges are related to the fire.

The Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department have made dozens of arrests in evacuation zones since devastating wildfires ripped through the area earlier this month, killing 27 people.
