Is 5 years too long for a man to wait for a marriage proposal?
A recent post on X asked users this question and mentioned a real-life relationship between a 32-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man. The relationship lasted five years, but the man claims that he is not ready to live with her. ”
Allie Beth Stuckey has an answer, especially considering this post doesn’t mention any extenuating circumstances or reasons other than not being ready.
“Based on that knowledge, I say goodbye. Goodbye, you break up with him and move on,” Stuckey says.
“At the moment he’s a boy. The launch failed and there’s something going on here.”
Stuckey believes that if a man truly loves a woman, it shouldn’t be a problem for him to rape her.
“He would if he wanted,” she says.
“He will pursue you and do whatever it takes to secure the relationship and make sure you are together forever,” she added.
However, the age of the two in the mentioned relationship is a big factor in Stuckey’s opinion, as women have a biological clock to consider. They are in their 30’s so he is just wasting her time.
“You’re wasting your best years on a loser. Don’t do that. Don’t waste your most fertile years on a weak man who won’t commit.” she explains.
Stuckey has a breakup message for those stuck in relationships with men who won’t commit.
“I know you’re scared of being single, I know you’re scared of being alone, because you’re tired of all your friends getting married and being bridesmaids and not being brides anymore. “I know you’re sad,” she says.
“Don’t compromise. It’s better to be single and sad than to be married and stuck.”
