Lady Gaga enjoyed her performance of her 2013 duet “Do What U Want” on Saturday Night Live with “Do What U Want” and R. Kelly's performance.
The singer took on a double mission Saturday as a host and musical guest, but got the opportunity in her monologue to look back on her first host stint.
“I'm so happy to be back on 'SNL'. I last hosted it in 2013, and every aspect of my performance matured surprisingly well,” she joked.
She and R. Kelly were performing together on the episode a few years before the incarcerated R&B singer was charged with assault and sex trafficking and convicted.
“So, there's no need to Google's Lady Gaga featuring R. Kelly.” That's a bad thing, so I won't lift it! ”
The “Abracadabra” performer spoke about his recent focus on performances, including “The Stars Are Born” and critically acclaimed performances in “House of Gucci.” After wearing a sparkly flapper gown and matching fur.
“Anyway, I'm an actor now. And I was very keen on choosing a film that could showcase my craft as a serious actor. After films like “Joker 2” joked, he added, “Obviously people thought it was great.”

During the show, Gaga performed the song from her seventh studio album, Mayhem, released on Friday.
She was a “SNL” musical guest four times before this weekend.
