Lady Gaga’s father, Joe Germanotta, declared he is throwing his support behind Donald Trump during a Fox News segment Thursday.
The endorsement might come as a shock to some fans, given the fact that Lady Gaga has supported the Democrats in the past. However, Germanotta, a New York City restauranteur, called Donald Trump “pure,” referring to him as “a patriot” while lacing into Harris.
“They’re two vastly different people,” Germanotta said, referencing Harris and Trump. “One of ’em is pure and he’s a patriot and the other is just gonna say whatever she needs to say to get elected, and that’s basically what I hear.”

Germanotta went on to say that he is “tired of hearing about her neighbors lawn,” as he mocked Harris.
Germanotta admitted that Trump isn’t perfect in his eyes, but he made it clear that he favored Trump’s approach and position far more than his famous daughter.
“Donald, yeah he’s abrasive, ok, but he’s a patriot and his policies are there – they’re on target, for me, anyway,” he said.
Lady Gaga’s father went on to rattle off the reasons he dedicated his vote to Trump.

“I’m in to low fuel and food prices, right, low interest rates, good economy, pro-police,” Germanotta said.
“I mean, let the police do their job… law & order!” he proclaimed.
Germanotta addressed the protests that have taken place on the streets of New York, and compared the two politicians once more.

“Don’t let these protestors burn down our cities and the small businesses. Keep the jobs here in the United States,” he said.
“If u stack ’em oup side by side, I don’t know what the hell she’s talking about,” he said, making reference to Harris.
“She keeps taking about opportunity zones but the world is an opportunity zone! Germanotta declared.

The famous singer’s father noted, “You can’t get worse than it is now,” before closing off the interview by reiterating, ” I endorse Donald Trump – I endorse his policies!”
Lady Gaga recently liked Taylor Swift’s Instagram post endorsing Kamala Harris, and famously performed at Joe Bident’s inauguration in January, 2021.
