Los Angeles Football Club forward Olivieriroux broke into his Los Angeles home into a $500,000 worth of gemstone that was stolen earlier this month.
The robber was reported to LA police by Giroux's wife Jennifer on February 5th and found a shattered window. TMZ reported.
Among the items stolen from the property were 10 men's watches, which the wife of the soccer star valued at nearly $500,000.
To date, no arrests have been made in connection with the theft, and LAPD is still under investigation according to the outlet.
The MLS club did not immediately respond to requests for comment from posts relating to the incident.

The victims were NFL stars Joe Barrow, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kels, and Dallas, who had his home robbed while he was still with the Mavericks. With NBA star Luka Donsic,
Earlier this month, three Chilean immigrants were arrested and charged in connection with the break-in.
Giroud will enter his first full season with LAFC after joining the MLS side during the season last year.

He appeared in the 10 MLS regular season games last season, recording three assists.
Giroud has a long football career in his name, including career revenues of over $40 million per Spotrac, stopping at Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan.
He was also a member of the 2018 French World Cup team that won a tournament in Russia that year.
At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Giroud scored four goals in the quarter-finals against England, including the game winner.
The MLS season begins this weekend, with LAFC launching its 2025 campaign at home with Minnesota United.
