Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson Sparks Controversy After Touchdown

During a recent game against the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was caught on camera shoving Bills fans after completing a touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins. This incident occurred late in the third quarter, following a 29-yard touchdown throw, which helped the Ravens build a 34-19 lead as the third quarter came to a close.

It seems Hopkins, a veteran wide receiver, opted for a one-handed catch, which added to the excitement of the moment. On a broadcast by NBC, fans near the field noticed Jackson and Hopkins approaching the barrier, and Jackson was seen pushing fans back. Fortunately, this play did not result in any penalties against him. Afterward, he took a moment to compose himself on the bench, while Hopkins didn’t engage with the fans.

That touchdown was pivotal in securing Baltimore’s dominance in the game. At that point, Jackson had completed 1 out of 15 passes for 194 yards, along with two touchdown passes. Additionally, he contributed with 38 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Ravens’ running back Derrick Henry had also been making a significant impact, with 129 rushing yards and a couple of touchdowns through three quarters.

This game had some underlying tension, as Baltimore sought revenge for a playoff loss to Buffalo. That previous defeat had put an end to an otherwise strong season for the Ravens, while the Bills had progressed to the AFC Championship Game, only to fall short against the Kansas City Chiefs.
