Spain Celebrates World Cup Victory
The Spanish national team enjoyed a heartwarming celebration with their loved ones on Sunday after clinching a 1-0 victory over Argentina in the FIFA World Cup final.
Young star Lamine Yamal and his girlfriend, influencer Ines García Santos, were beaming as they relaxed together on the steps of MetLife Stadium, proudly holding the World Cup trophy. “You did it! Congratulations, my love, you’re a world champion 🤎,” she shared on Instagram, which also featured some joyful snapshots of the moment.
Yamal, who is with Barcelona, had a playful pose, wearing dark glasses and sticking his tongue out.
In another emotional scene, Laura Abra, the German model and girlfriend of forward Dani Olmo, was visibly moved, crying tears of joy in the stands, which she posted on her Instagram Story.
The couple also struck a pose on the field alongside the golden trophy.
“YOUUUUU❤️ Forever,” Abra later expressed on Instagram, adorning herself with Olmo’s gold medal.
Marc Cucurella, a defender for the national team, celebrated with his partner, influencer Claudia Rodriguez, and their three kids. They shared a family photo on Instagram, highlighting their joy. “And if I were born again tomorrow, I would choose to be Spanish again ❤️ 💛 ❤️,” Rodriguez wrote, encapsulating their pride.
Ferran Torres, who stepped in for Mikel Oyarzabal during the second half, scored the decisive goal in the 106th minute, securing Spain’s triumph over Argentina. After the match, he remarked, “The goal belonged to 47 million people. It wasn’t just me or the 26 players.”
He added, “Destiny was written and intended for us to win far from our people.”
