Landry Kiffin Joins the Buzz Around Her Father

It seems like Lane Kiffin isn’t the only one in the family making headlines these days. His daughter, Landry, recently shared a post on Instagram that caught attention just as rumors swirled about her father’s role as the Rebels’ head coach. In the post, she reminisced about “the best time of the year” amidst a backdrop from Oxford, Michigan.

Landry, who has been making waves with her relationship with LSU linebacker Whit Weeks, offered a glimpse into her recent sorority event, the Sapphire Bowl. She looked stunning in a sparkling icy blue dress, adding to the excitement of the season.

Her post came not long after Ole Miss celebrated a 34-24 victory over the Gators. Responses to her post were rampant, with many comments speculating about her father’s potential coaching moves, particularly toward LSU and Florida.

One Instagram user wrote, “your [sic] Gonna love Gainesville,” while another urged her to “Tell your dad to choose LSU.” Lane Kiffin, at 50 years old, is seen as a prime candidate in the collegiate coaching scene, especially after both LSU and Florida parted ways with their previous coaches.

Rumors have circulated suggesting that Ole Miss has put pressure on Kiffin regarding his future, with searches for coaching positions happening simultaneously. Reports suggest that Kiffin’s family was exploring Baton Rouge and Gainesville, but he firmly denied these claims on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Kiffin stated, “Yeah, that’s absolutely not true,” emphasizing the lack of any ultimatum. He expressed, “I don’t know where that came from. Like a lot of things that come out there. … We’re having a lot of fun. We love it here.”

As the focus stays on the 10-1 Rebels, it’s interesting to note that even amid his success, university officials are reportedly looking for clarity from Kiffin and his agent, Jimmy Sexton. The Rebels are set to face their rivals, Mississippi State, on November 28, and a win could secure them a spot in the College Football Playoff.
