On her podcast, The Right View of Lara Trump, Lara Trump emphasized the importance of buying Code Red: Left, Right, China, and the Race to Control AI, authored by Wynton Hall from Breitbart News. She mentioned that the future of AI is shaping up to be “the battle of our generation.”
President Trump remarked, “This new book sounds great. It warns us that we cannot opt-out of the AI revolution.” In the podcast, she highlighted how the book outlines ways to prepare for this upcoming shift.
President Trump asked Hall why many Americans seem unaware of AI’s current influence on their daily activities.
“Ninety-nine percent of us already engage with AI, although 64 percent don’t realize it. It’s integrated into the algorithms that drive everything—from streaming platforms to weather apps and GPS. Therefore, it’s essential that we become more aware. There are many risks, which I call ‘land mines,’ but also plenty of opportunities,” Hall noted.
Hall pointed out that education’s future isn’t just about job applications; it also involves job creation.
“This means focusing on entrepreneurship,” he added.
He elaborated, “Think about how to take a small business idea and scale it significantly with minimal capital. Parents should teach their kids entrepreneurial skills to help them navigate the future job market shaped by AI.”
President Trump highlighted that American-led AI innovation has implications for national security.
“We don’t want to exist in a world shaped by China’s AI,” Hall commented.
