The MAGA team of Donald Trump and Elon Musk is taking the world by storm, and Lara Trump is one of the few who has had a front-row seat to watch their friendship blossom.
“It's funny, I feel like Elon is probably a little bit like us. I mean, he kind of keeps everyone at a distance, but once he gets involved, he's really into it,” Lala Dave said.・Rubin talks about the “Rubin Report.''
“Just watching how my relationship with my stepfather has developed, I feel like he's a little bit the same way,” she continues.
And this relationship is changing the world.
“I think it makes sense to have a brilliant mind like Elon Musk on the team as part of the transition and obviously with DOGE coming up,” she says. “Look, I think we're on the cusp of probably the most profound transformation in America since the founding, since the birth of this country. I think you have to give Elon Musk a lot of credit.”
Mr. Musk's acquisition of Twitter (now X) forever changed the way Americans discuss politics and rendered mainstream media almost completely obsolete.
“If he hadn't bought Twitter, where would we be today? Would we even be talking about Donald Trump's victory?” Lara asked, “No, to be honest.” added. So I think he's been really important to all of this and we'd love to have him on the team. We want to have good people on our team. ”
Rubin replies, “That's very funny to me.” “It's like the same people who think the world will end in six years because of climate change hate the guy who wants life to move between planets.”
“There’s nothing you can do to make up for it,” laughs Lara.
