‘Largest IT Outage Of All Time’ Leaves The U.S. And Globe On Edge

Disruptions were seen in financial services, medical clinics, airports and television broadcasts on Friday as businesses around the world suffered an ongoing, catastrophic IT outage.

The global technology outage hit systems in the United States, Britain, Germany, Australia, Japan, Israel and India, among others.

Air travel has been particularly hard hit, with airlines grounding flights, services being delayed, airports issuing passenger advisories and leaving passengers feeling stressed and angry.

Cybersecurity giant CrowdStrike said it suffered major disruptions early Friday morning due to issues with its latest software update. NBC.

Meanwhile, travelers stranded at New York’s JFK airport this morning were met with a mixture of delays, fatigue and a desire to go to a bar.
