Las Vegas Raiders players Maxx Crosby, Alex Backman and Gardner Minshew met with former President Donald Trump during the latter’s recent visit to Las Vegas, according to a post by X that captured the two players shaking hands with Trump.
The Republican presidential candidate visited Las Vegas on Thursday ahead of a campaign event on Friday, where former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced he was suspending his own campaign and endorsing Trump Vance for the 2024 presidential election.

Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby has been with the team since 2019 and is a known supporter of the former president.
For example, shortly after Trump survived an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania, Crosby posted a photo of himself sitting next to Trump and called the former president the “GOAT” in the caption, using a goat emoji.

Alex Bachmann has also voiced her support for the president on social media, for example in July. Ridiculed Left-wing conspiracy theorists claim that President Trump fabricated the assassination attempt.
Meanwhile, quarterback Gardner Minshew, who just joined the Raiders this year, is not politically active on social media, but is a strong supporter of the U.S. military and National Guard, and supports USAA’s #HonorThroughAction “V” challenge.
In another post from July, X wrote: Claimed “The days of the ‘silent majority’ are over,” he said, retweeting other supporters of Donald Trump.
