The Rock will finally return to a WWE ring — and he’ll do so in one of the biggest tag team matches in WWE history
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson competed in his first real WWE match in 11 years since losing to John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania 29, competing against his cousin Roman Reigns in Saturday’s main event. They will team up to face Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. The two-day WrestleMania 40 event will be held at Lincoln Financial Field.
If Rock’s team wins, what could happen in Sunday’s main event at Bloodline Rules, when Rose attempts to capture Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and end his over 1,300-day reign. It’s not strange either. If Rose and Rollins win, Reigns’ bloodline faction will be banished from ringside.
The tag team match is the centerpiece attraction on a loaded Night 1 card that includes the first true WWE match between Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, Gunther, Rey Mysterio and Jade Cargill.
