“While we believe the decision to place our client on administrative leave was premature, we respect Director Daniels' request for a thorough investigation of the incident involving Tyreek Hill and we fully support that position,” the lawyers said. “We urge all involved to refrain from making public statements that misrepresent our client's actions and mislead the public about Mr. Hill's detention.”

“We seek, as Director Daniels has also advocated, the immediate reinstatement of our client and a full, thorough and objective investigation. Our client will not comment until this investigation is concluded and the facts are fully known.”
