League Cup semi-finals: previews and predictions for the second legs | Carabao Cup

Newcastle v Arsenal, Wednesday 8:00 pm

Newcastle holds a 2-0 lead after the first leg at Emirates. The goals of Alexander Isaac and Anthony Gordon on both sides of half -time gave them great advantages with ties. Newcastle fans must have been confident in booking spots at Wembley at the time, but recent forms probably have caused concerns.

Newcastle lost two of the last three games. 4-1 Bone Mass, 2-1 is a flam. Importantly, both defeats are performed at St. James Park. Arsenal is a great form to add to the jitter before the game. They won five of the last six games and hit the league champion Manchester City 5-1.

Arsenal players couldn't be more confident. “We will win the game and go there to get 3, 4, 5,” Gabriel Martinelli said when he was asked about T -IE. “We have a great team and trust themselves. We have completely confidence in the team.”

But good news for Newcastle is that Bruno Gimare and Fabian shale will be available after missing the first leg. The return of Brazilians is particularly important, given that his brothers Jolinton would miss their knee injuries. Nick Pope is back, but Kalam Wilson, Jamal Lasels and Harvey Barnes have been overlooking. Arsenal did not suffer fresh injuries on Sunday, but Bukayo Saka, Ben White, Gabriel Jesus, Takeuchi and Tomiyas are still absent.

Miles Lewis Skelly was impressed by the victory in the city after his ban was overturned, and he may be on the left back, but Ethan Nwaneri, an excellent league cup this season, is an excellent Ethan Nwaneri. I came out of the bench and started from the right flank. I scored on Sunday.

Arsenal has a wind blowing on the sail, but lost three of the last four games at St. James Park. Newcastle fans will shake the stadium because the team has not seen the team gaining a major trophy in 70 years. They don't get more good opportunities than this.

Prediction: Newcastle loses 2-1 at night, but has advanced the aggregation.

Liverpool V Tottenham, Thursday 8:00 pm

Liverpool lost 1-0 personally in the first leg in Tottenham. They won five of the seven games. They won the only defeat in the PSV in the Champions League. After finishing the top of the Champions League Group, the top of the Premier League has cleared 6 points, and has a FA cup tie that is very easy to win on the weekend, so if you break the spurs with Amphield, you can. The dual is still on.

After Bone Mass's undefeated streak on the south coast on the weekend, Arness lot will be confident in overturning the one -goal deficit from the first leg. Managers can use most of the XI that started the match. They may not have Trent Alexander Arnold, who played against Bournemas in the 70th minute due to injuries.

An injury continues to be a big concern for Spurs. “Every time I looked at the light at the end of the tunnel, it was usually a approaching train,” said Ange Postecoglou last week. Tottenham's manager suffered another retreat when he was injured in the European League against Elfsborg at the end of the season.

The postcogles take the Tottenham to Amphield, all of which include Dominik Soranke, Christian Romero, James Madison, Timo Verner, Brennan Johnson, Destiny Udoggy, and Griermo Vialio. Mickey Van de Ben may have been excluded from the team to win 2-0 in Brentford on weekends.

Postecoglou may use the same XI that has started the game unless any of the new signing of the club is available. Kevin Danso participated on the weekend with a loan from Ligue 1 Club Lens. Matestell, a 19 -year -old forward from Bayern Munich, may be an option, which will be a big boost for Spurs.

Prediction: Liverpool wins 3-1 at night and progresses in total.
