Leanne Morgan Shares Decision to Rebuild Breasts for Grandson
Leanne Morgan recently opened up about her choice to undergo breast reconstruction, motivated by her desire to set a positive example for her grandson, years after initially receiving breast implants.
“I thought about making them smaller since I’m a grandma now… I really didn’t want my grandkids to see me looking like some over-the-top version of Pamela Anderson. I appreciate my implants, but at 60, it’s a different stage of life,” she shared during an appearance on Jenna Bush Hager’s podcast.
The 60-year-old comedian explained that her journey with breast implants began after the birth of her third child when her breasts “didn’t quite bounce back.” With a sense of humor, she described them as resembling “little tube socks” filled with cotton and marbles. It was her mother’s candid observation that prompted her to consider surgery.
Morgan and her husband, Chuck, have three adult children: Charlie, Maggie, and Tess. She recalled wanting to get implants back in the day mainly because she felt “young” and was unable to wear a proper bra at that time.
Reflecting on her 25-year experience with implants, she stated, “I feel good in my clothes, and I’m happy with my decision. No regrets here.” She noted how the approach to implants has shifted since her initial surgery, indicating that women today often prefer smaller, more natural-looking options.
Ultimately, Morgan emphasized that women should make choices that empower them, whether that involves surgery or not. That’s what truly matters, after all.
