Well. What a game this promises to be. The absolute best of the Championship, a game that will probably eclipse plenty of Premier League matches in terms of quality, stature and competitiveness. âThis is a special game, this is why we started to play football,â said Daniel Farke earlier this week as he looked forward to a sizzling Elland Road atmosphere under the Friday night lights â itâs second versus first in the second tier.

With Leicester currently enjoying a seven-point cushion at the top, itâs probably a bigger game for Leeds tonight. They can feel Ipswich and Southampton breathing down their necks, and those teams in third and fourth respectively have fairly friendly home games tomorrow â in which theyâll be expected to capitalise on any Leeds slip-up.

Whereâs your money, then? Leeds have won five on the bounce going into this one, while Enzo Marescaâs side suffered a surprise 2-1 home defeat to Middlesbrough last time out. The Whites were the victors by a solitary goal when the two sides faced off at the King Power in November.

important events
If the Lionesses collide with Austria If it tickles your fancy, that’s another live soccer show tonight. John Brewin is your guy.
Leeds look to have strong substitutes tonight. Falke, at this level, it is really embarrassing to be able to freely attack wealth.
With Vardy and Iheanacho absent, Leicester only have one striker on the bench.
Leeds have Bamford, Joseph and James, who scored 10 goals, on the bench. It might be important. #lufc #LCFC

Leicester are not in top form, as modern managers like to say, despite being top of the league. Wilfred Ndidi is out for an extended period of time, Kelechi Iheanacho is still missing and Jamie Vardy also appears to be suffering from an injury which has kept him out of the matchday squad. Considering the fact that the Foxes lost their last game, Maresca’s team has some wobbles to deal with.
However, a win today would seal automatic promotion, and only four Championship sides have actually beaten Leicester this season (Middlesbrough twice, Coventry, Leeds and Hull). They are still terrifying costumes.

good. What an amazing game this is going to be! Leicester are currently top of the table with seven points, so tonight is probably the bigger game for Leeds. You can feel Ipswich and Southampton breathing down your neck, with the teams in third and fourth respectively having a fairly friendly home game tomorrow, where they will take advantage of Leeds’ blunder. That would be expected.
So where is your money? Leeds have won five games heading into this match, but Enzo Maresca’s side suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat at home to Middlesbrough in their last match. When the two teams met at the King Power in November, Los Blancos won with the only goal.
