LEGO promotes LGBT movment with stop motion video

Lego recently released a stop-motion video to celebrate the LGBT movement.

“These LEGO minifigures are heading out for their own epic parade to celebrate Pride, and this incredible stop-motion film shows them journeying through their homes as they get ready for the celebrations!” explanation A short reading on YouTube.

At the end of the video the message “Happy PRIDE” is written.

The company said:Everyone is great” Set, design By Matthew Ashton, Vice President of Design for the LEGO Group.

“I incorporated black and brown to represent the broad diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also added pale blue, white and pink to support and embrace the transgender community. I deliberately included a purple drag queen to clearly represent the wonderful side of the LGBTQIA+ community. It was a fun piece to make and a fun piece to watch, and I hope it brings a lot of joy to people’s lives,” he said. I got it..

Apparently LEGO recently held an event in their stores where you could make your own LEGO Progress Pride Flag.

“Build and take home a LEGO® Progress Flag!” post “The LEGO® Progress Pride Flag build and take home event is intended for participants ages 6 and up. LEGO Progress Pride Flag models will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last,” the post states. “LEGO Progress Pride Flag models are not available for purchase.”
