Hello and welcome to coverage of today’s Premier League clash between Leicester City and Chelsea. Enzo Maresca travels to his former home to face his former club for the first time since swapping Leicestershire for London in July. Maresca led the Foxes back to England’s top flight at the first time of asking last season. Now, he is seeking glory with Chelsea. A win today will put the Blues just one point behind Manchester City. Anything less could see them leapfrogged by Arsenal, Nottingham Forest or Brighton later today. As for Leicester, a much-needed win could give them a nice cushion above the relegation zone.

Lester was also seriously injured. This week, promising winger Abdul Fattaw ruled himself out for the remainder of the season. The 20-year-old ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament while playing for Ghana during the international break.
“He's a young player and ACL injuries are common. It's part of football, but it's still a serious injury,” coach Steve Cooper said. It's a blow to him and to us that it happened at such a young age. We must now support him in every way possible to make his rehabilitation as smooth and fruitful as possible. We hope he comes back as a stronger player and person. ”
James' injury nightmare
Chelsea full-back Reece James took to Instagram on Thursday to confirm that he has suffered another injury setback. He writes: “This message is for people who understand and respect what I'm going through… I really appreciate it. Your support and kind words mean more than you can imagine. And let me just say…I'm okay, some things are better, some things are worse, and I'm open to more challenges in the future. Against all expectations.”
James has had a tough time over the past five years, plagued by injuries. He spent seven months on the sideline last season after suffering a hamstring issue. The Chelsea captain has also endured knocks to his knees, ankles and thighs over the years.
His latest injury is his eighth hamstring problem in four years.
Reece James is not in the Chelsea squad today. The full-back suffered another hamstring injury this week, but Enzo Maresca downplayed concerns about him being out for a long period of time. The Chelsea manager said on Thursday: “We only have one injured player and that's unfortunately Reece who felt a little discomfort in training two days ago. We don't want to take any risks at the weekend.”
“It's a hamstring, muscle problem. We'll see, I don't know how long it will last, for sure. [we want him fit for longer]. That's not happening at the moment, but we hope to see it happen soon. He's out this weekend but hopes to be back soon. It will probably be difficult for him to be able to play in the conference league. [next Thursday]but hopefully soon. ”
I want to hear it this afternoon! If you have any score predictions, opinions, thoughts, feelings, or anything jazz-related, feel free to message me. Will Enzo Maresca lose to his former team? (Sorry for the pun) Or will he win again with King Power?
Also, let Storm Bart know if you have the courage to go watch soccer today…
Weather warnings have been issued across England Storm Bart arrived today. Some EFL matches scheduled for this afternoon have already been postponed, including the Championship clash between Blackburn and Portsmouth and League Two side Accrington Stanley's trip to Bradford.
