Brooke Rose may have been trying to let Knicks fans know that a blockbuster Mikal Bridges trade is on the way.
Knicks president Leon Rose’s daughter posted a photo to her Instagram Story on Monday night of her father fiddling with his phone while sitting courtside at the game.
The photo was removed from her page, but rumors spread that the organization was up to something. when it was posted by a popular Knicks fan account.

Rose and the Knicks, who don’t like the spotlight, were certainly up to something.
In the deal, they sent Bojan Bogdanovic, four unprotected first-round picks (2025, 2027, 2029, 2031), a 2025 protected first-round pick from the Bucks, a 2028 unprotected pick swap and a 2025 second-round pick to the Nets in exchange for Bridges. By ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Knicks hold the 24th and 25th overall picks in the 2024 NBA Draft, which will be held Wednesday night in Brooklyn.
The Knicks will also receive a 2026 second-round pick from the Nets.

Bridges will be reunited with former Villanova teammates Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo.
They were members of Jay Wright’s championship teams in 2016 and 2018.
They led the Wildcats to a national championship in 2016, then two years later they won a second championship with Brunson, Bridges and DiVincenzo all together.
According to social media posts, the four were excited to be reunited.
“This is crazy (laughs).” Bridges wrote to X. after the deal was reported.

Bridges was a key part of the Suns team that reached the 2021 NBA Finals, where Phoenix lost to the Bucks.
Bridges is set to make roughly $48 million over the final two years of his current contract.
He will be eligible to sign a two-year contract extension on Oct. 1.
