‘Let’s Go Back to Donald Trump’

Vice President Kamala Harris refused to answer FOX News' Bret Baier's question about why the Biden-Harris administration gave Iran access to billions of dollars, instead offering a familiar response to Donald Trump: I deflected to criticism.

Harris gave a controversial 27-minute interview. special report During that time, Democratic candidates often dodged questions or tried to shift the focus to their opponents. Her answers on foreign policy were no different. Given Harris' assertion that Iran (not China) is America's greatest enemy, Baier asked why Harris and Biden “have done nothing by loosening or not enforcing sanctions on Iran. Did he allow all of this money to flow to Iran, like billions of dollars in oil profits?'' ?

Mr. Byer's premise was sound. As Breitbart News and others reported this week, the U.S. government itself estimates that Iran gained nearly $200 billion in oil revenue after the Iranian regime suspended sanctions against Iran.

“Let's get back to Donald Trump,” Harris replied. He pointed out that it is true that President Trump withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal. However, the deal also gave Iran billions of dollars in sanctions relief (and ransoms for imprisoned Americans). This agreement would have also allowed Iran to emerge as a nation. It became the first nuclear state in nearly a decade, but importantly did not hinder Iran's ballistic missile development, as President Barack Obama had suggested.
Harris then brought up an issue from the 2020 campaign, in which President Trump tried to dismiss the injuries to U.S. service members at bases in Iraq after an Iranian missile attack as a “headache.” What Harris failed to mention was that the attack on Iran came after President Trump removed Iranian terror general Qasem Soleimani. Harris and then-candidate Joe Biden opposed the operation, predicting (incorrectly) that it would lead to war in the Middle East.

When Mr. Baier tried to return to questioning, Mr. Harris simply spoke to him and even brought up the “sucks and losers” hoax. She did not explain why the Biden-Harris administration gave Iran access to missiles and terrorist financing.
