Levin Calls for White House Task Force on Schweizer’s Civil Unrest Reports

Call for Investigation into Violent Left-Wing Groups

On Sunday, Mark Levin, host of Fox News Channel’s “Life, Liberty & Levin,” encouraged the Trump administration to assemble a task force aimed at probing the connections between violent left-wing groups and their funding sources, as discussed by Peter Schweitzer, director of the Government Accountability Institute.

Levin highlighted what he sees as a fusion between Marxism and Islamism. He prompted Schweitzer to share insights about Antifa. Schweitzer explained that while there’s no formal organization called Antifa, it represents a network of radical, Marxist-oriented groups that often align with Islamist ideals. He noted that these groups, as evidenced in the investigation they presented to the president, receive substantial backing, some from U.S.-based sources. For example, advisory firms like Arabella have funneled money through the Tides Foundation to organizations involved in violent protests.

In Atlanta, protests erupted around a proposed police training facility, referred to as “Cop City.” The demonstrators resorted to violence, igniting petrol bombs among other aggressive actions. Some participants faced charges related to domestic terrorism, with links to funding from the Tides Foundation. Schweitzer emphasized that these radical progressive organizations in the U.S. are, in some cases, backing violent activities—this isn’t merely about rhetoric, but actual street violence.

He also brought attention to American billionaire Roy Singham, who sold his company, ThoughtWorks, for around $1 billion and now resides in Beijing. Singham has connections with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and attends their events. Through the People’s Forum in New York, he financially supports organizations like the Freedom Road Socialist Organization and the Socialist Liberation Party, which promote anti-American and pro-China ideologies, leading to violent protests.

Schweitzer suggested that this issue might extend beyond well-known movements like Black Lives Matter and could intersect with Middle Eastern dynamics. The problem lies in the funding, which, although not systematically organized, supports criminal activity. He urged that the government should be aware and actively investigate these funding sources, warning that involvement in funding organizations accused of criminal behavior could lead to legal consequences.

Levin expressed uncertainty about the formation of a dedicated task force but anticipated that a special committee from the Treasury Department, FBI, IRS, and other agencies would be scrutinizing these matters from various perspectives. He noted the potential misuse of these resources against conservative groups and suggested they should be redirected to confront perceived threats from foreign money trying to destabilize the U.S.

He emphasized the urgency of addressing these issues, proclaiming that if foreign interests are infiltrating and financing opposition to U.S. values, action must be taken before it’s too late. He conveyed pride in the president’s commitment to these investigations, highlighting past incidents where independent journalists faced severe aggression from Antifa, often ignored or underreported by the mainstream media.

In 2020, for example, Antifa regularly attacked a federal courthouse in Portland, with a federal judge dismissively framing it as a free speech matter. As the conversation drew to a close, Levin asked Schweitzer for any final thoughts, to which Schweitzer affirmed their findings would be shared with the Attorney General and the FBI Director, urging for a thorough examination.

Levin reflected on the rarity of a president willing to address these issues so explicitly, expressing a profound love for the country and underscoring the necessity of safeguarding it from internal threats.
