The judge in President Trump’s Stormy Daniels hush-money case has refused to resign after the former president’s lawyers requested that he be removed from the bench.
Mr. Trump’s lawyers noted that Judge Juan Marchan’s daughter works as a Democratic consultant representing politicians such as Vice President Kamala Harris and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).
Marchan, himself an “elected Democratic hacker,” placed a gag order on Trump after the former president brought his judge’s daughter to the spotlight on social media.
