In an interview with conservative activist Charlie Kirk, the Human Rights Campaign blasted California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) for abandoning transgender athletes earlier this week.
Newsom launched a podcast last year and recently improved it by saying he wanted to interview people with the Maga movement. (Newsom's Office has repeatedly declined to request an interview with Breitbart News.)
The propaganda stunt is intended to hone the newspaper's bipartisan qualification ahead of the 2028 presidency run.
As reported by Breitbart News:
When Kirk asked Newsom about his thoughts on trans athletes on his recent podcast, The Gov. It went in an amazing direction.
“I think it's a matter of fairness. I totally agree with you about it. It's a matter of fairness – it's a very unfair,” cried Newsom.
“I'm not working on the issue of fairness,” Newsom added. “I fully agree with you. I respect sports. So the issue of fairness is completely legal.”
The Human Rights Campaign also approved the newspaper for reelection in 2022. I'm saying: “First as mayor of San Francisco, and now as governor of California, he was an equally tireless champion for all Californians and the national leader in the fight to ensure LGBTQ+ rights don't return elsewhere.”
But now, the human rights campaign is not impressed. As a local ABC affiliate KABC-7 It has been reported:
Newsom's statement is the country's largest LGBTQ+ civil rights group, Human Rights Campaignsends a warning shot to Newsom's Bow regarding the possibility of a run for the presidency.
The group issued a statement that reads, “The road to 2028 is unpaved by the betrayal of vulnerable communities… is based on the courage to stand up to the right and actually make an effort to help Americans.”
Literally a few weeks ago, a California agency opposed the Trump administration's ban on trans athletes. The state, particularly the governor, was also pushed back against local school districts that hoped parents would be notified if their children expressed their desire to change gender. Newsom even signed a law last year prohibiting such notices.
