Formed in Manchester in 1991, Oasis has always been centered around Liam and Noel, with other band members coming and going over the years, and from the very beginning, the brothers have had their share of feuds.
After years of press criticism and abusive criticism, the group officially disbanded in 2009 when Noel announced he was leaving the band.
“It is with both a bit of sadness and huge relief… I am leaving Oasis tonight,” Noel said in a statement at the time. “People can write and say what they want but I just can't continue working with Liam any longer.”
Despite making nasty public comments about his brother over the past 15 years, and as recently as February 2024, Liam always seemed to believe Noel wanted to rejoin the band.
“[Noel]”We're desperate to get the oasis back, but we know we've crossed that bridge.” Liam told Q Magazine. 2018.
He also accused Noel's ex-girlfriend Sarah of blocking his return to the group.

Noel and Sara announced their separation in January.
“I know deep down he wants to play in stadiums,” Liam added. “The only time he'll play in stadiums is if I'm there.”
