MSNBC viewers continued to attack anchor Katie Tur, who received a vicious tongue-lashing from California Democratic Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.
The former House speaker accused Tur of defending former President Donald Trump’s employment record when he gently responded to Pelosi’s rant.
“Joe Biden is doing it, [he] “He created 9 million jobs during his term. Donald Trump has the worst job loss record of any president,” Pelosi said. So we have to make sure people know that. ”
“We have a global pandemic,” Mr. Toole interjected.
Pelosi appeared surprised by the anchor’s interruption and lashed out at her.
“He had the worst record of any president in history. There are other concerns in our country,” Pelosi said, adding, “If you want to be an apologist for Donald Trump, that might be your role. No, but that’s not my role!”
“I don’t think anyone can fault me for that,” Mr. Toole replied.
Some MSNBC viewers agreed with Pelosi and jumped at the opportunity to accuse Tuer of being biased toward Republicans.
“Pelosi basically just called Katie Toole an apologist for Trump, and I’m glad someone is finally saying it. She’s trying to use the pandemic that happened in her final year in office as a way to sort of put her career history behind her.” It’s insane to point this out as if to defend her. A very popular sentence says, “She’s such a dishonest host.” response.
“Thank you @SpeakerPelosi for calling out Katie Toole about her terrible political behavior towards Mr. Trump!” answered Author Leslie Abravanel. “Pelosi praised Biden for being the greatest job creator in history. Tourer responded with the MAGAt talking point that this is a global pandemic. NP doesn’t have a pandemic and shut down.”

Tour previously made headlines in 2018 when he said that his life and daily decisions are meaningless because global warming will destroy the planet.
Pelosi also said in the interview that Congress needs to consider term limits for Supreme Court justices unless it rules against President Trump in a way that helps Democrats.
