Brad Wilcox, a professor of sociology at the University of Virginia and a fellow at the Institute of Family Studies, believes there are several reasons why conservative young women are more likely to be happier than their liberal counterparts. He said.

“We've seen research that conservative women tend to embrace a sense of agency and feel that in any way they are not victims of greater structural reality or power,” he says. He told News. digital.

“They are also unlikely to destroy public events or concerns,” and “they are likely to consider themselves the captain of their own destiny,” Wilcox added.

The vote also destroyed the relationship situation of the women surveyed.

Data shows that 40% of liberal women reported being single, while 31% said they were married. For conservative women, 33% reported being single, and 51% were married. The remaining women on either side of the political aisle reported being “devoted” or “living together” with their partner.

Wilcox said marriage and family are the source of “huge” meaning and purpose for most people, so conservative women who are likely to be married are generally satisfied with their lives. It's not surprising to feel like it's doing.

Conservative women are also more likely to embrace gender differences between men and women, prioritize their families, and participate in religious service, he said.
