The Silicon Valley billionaire admitted that the Trump administration responded to far greater money donors than the former Obama team, with many on the left responding to anger and anger.

Chamath Palihapitiya said in an interview that no one in the White House would receive his call despite the fact that he is a “mega donor,” but he even admitted that the Trump administration would call and discuss the issue with big money donors.

“You can pick up the phone and talk to these people. I've never had that experience, guys.”

Former Facebook executives and entrepreneurs commented on Andrew Schulz's podcast.

“I was a lifelong Democrat, OK? I was a huge Democrat ruler. Like dinner with Obama-level donors, OK? “The Trump administration is totally different. No one can get on the phone and talk.”

He cited the example of a friend whose business has been deeply and severely affected by tariffs, and heard his concerns about Trump officials about his controversial policies.

“This is also completely different and I have a lot of respect for them. They are willing to discuss it with you,” he continued. “You can pick up the phone and talk to these people. I've never had that experience, guys.”

The podcast host called him out to appear to demand favors from the White House for his campaign contributions, but he claimed he was acting out of selfless motivation. Many on the left responded with anger, accusing Parihapitiya of complaining about the lack of access to political leaders by the wealthy.

“Someone should remind Chamath Palihapitiya that his cash is not supposed to be an access path. If so, he is giving it to a government/politician who is not working for the country, but for him. He might think it's okay.” I answered David Badash, a progressive publisher.

“When wealthy elites get straightened, they admit that money is fraudulently buying political access with Republicans but not with Democrats. I said Matt McDermott, a progressive activist.

“Chamas says that while he can't buy influence in a Democratic administration, billionaires can buy a lot of influence in the Trump administration.” I responded Justin Higgins, a former political appointee. “And he thinks this is a good reason why ordinary, working-class people should support Trump.”

“So I was angry that Biden didn't put the billionaires on the pedestal. You were focused on the working and middle class rather than the top 1%, so are you angry? read Another response.

Even some reporters criticized him.

“It speaks very well about Democrats and is too poor for the way some of these donors think.” I said Andrew Kaczynski from CNN.
