“The Quintessence of Conservatism” by Ronald Reagan Once said“Libertarianism is a fundamental right,” he said. This is true: Limited government, a strong skepticism of central authority, and respect for private public institutions form the core of conservatism. It is no wonder that people who share these views find former President Donald Trump unsettling.
If you're skeptical of authority, you're probably indifferent to the claim that “this election is the most important election of our lifetimes.” It feels like every election is described that way. But what if this election really is? What if this election poses a serious threat to our rights and freedoms?
The reality is that one of the candidates, Kamala Harris, is already part of an administration that is trampling on the constitutional rights of the American people.
In fact, this election really does matter. If the left, with Kamala Harris in the fold, wins, they will move quickly and aggressively to restrict your most fundamental rights and freedoms. They've already started doing so.
You've heard that people project their true selves onto others. When the left and their media allies focus on Trump's desire for authoritarian power, they create a lot of confusion. In fact, they hope that people won't realize that they are the ones seeking authoritarian control.
In other words, a protest vote for Kamala Harris would extinguish the flames of freedom faster than anyone could imagine.
Things are only getting worse. For the last four years in power, the Biden-Harris Administration and its allies have been consistently trying to destroy our civil liberties, and they're just getting started. I'm sure you're all tired of hearing the word “loafer” in the prosecution of Trump, so I won't go into it any further. The loafer campaign against ordinary citizens is accelerating at a rapid pace.
Consider the case of Eva Edor, an 89-year-old survivor of Tito's Communist concentration camps in Yugoslavia who emigrated to the United States and is now facing the equivalent of a life sentence for her age for praying in front of an abortion clinic. Glenn Beck“I'm prepared to die.”

If you don't live in a mainstream media bubble, you've also heard of Douglas Mackey. He was sentenced to prison in 2016 for creating election-themed memes telling people they could vote from home. Ironically, just four years later, voting from home became a reality. He was convicted of a felony and served time in federal prison.
The Biden-Harris administration clearly has a problem with pro-life activists. Before she became a senator, Kamala Harris orchestrated the political prosecution of journalist David Daleiden, whose alleged crimes included using hidden cameras to record Planned Parenthood officials discussing the sale of aborted fetal organs. The state of California has been pursuing Daleiden for years. As an aside, he recently retrieved the video evidence with the help of Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has made it publicly available. Greene may also be someone you don't like.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Biden administration has colluded with Big Tech to suppress people's speech, silencing people for a variety of reasons, including speaking the truth about alternative treatments like hydroxychloroquine, vitamin D and zinc, saying there is no scientific evidence that masks “stop the spread of infection,” questioning the efficacy of mRNA “vaccines,” and clashing with multinational pharmaceutical companies.
So you've been banned from Twitter or had your reputation questioned by elite-aligned fact-checkers. You're not going to jail, at least not yet. Just last week, former U.S. Senator and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton suggested that people who spread “misinformation” should be jailed.
What does a Bill of Rights have to do with the left's push for more control over your life?
Libertarians are divided on abortion. You might be a pro-abortion libertarian, and you might be the type of person who respects the freedoms of others, so the Heritage Foundation's attacks on Project 2025 might affect you. But that's not what the left really fears about Project 2025. Their real concern is the specific plans for dismantling the Wilson administration's administrative state.
When asked about Project 2025's specific policies to limit government power, Americans overwhelmingly support them, including increasing oversight of the Department of Justice and the FBI, abolishing the Department of Education, and eliminating partisan bureaucracy entirely.
For a long time, if the president wasn’t a Democrat, he had very little control over the day-to-day governance of the country. We all agree that we want to return to the Founding Fathers’ vision of a government with three separate powers.
So what's the problem?
You might think that both options are equally bad and that it doesn't matter who you vote for, so you choose the person who, according to mainstream opinion, is least likely to be a dictator.
The reality is that one of the candidates, Kamala Harris, is already part of an administration that regularly tramples on the constitutional rights of Americans.
So hold your nose and vote for Trump. Trump is far from perfect, but he's a better friend of freedom. And he'll make it less likely that we'll all end up in re-education camps.
