The Minnesota Lynx won Game 4 against the New York Liberty 82-80 on Friday night, moving them into the WNBA Finals tied at two games apiece and setting up Game 5 on Sunday.
Lynx forward Bridget Carleton was fouled attempting a putback shot on an offensive rebound against Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu. She sank two free throws to give Minnesota the lead and the win.

After the game, New York head coach Sandy Brondello challenged officials on the foul differential. Minnesota shot 20 free throws, while New York State shot nine. Liberty was called for 14 fouls and the Lynx were called for nine.
“If (we) get hit, it's a bloody foul,” Brondello said. Via ESPN.
Brondello added that he believed his team was called for a “stinging” foul.
“All we want is fairness. So if we're getting hit, that's a foul. You know, I'm one of the kindest bloody coaches in this league. But this pisses me off. Just be fair,” she said.

Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve said after Game 3 that she felt officials asked Liberty for another game considering two-time WNBA MVP Brianna Stewart was on the floor. .
Reeve said Friday that he had not received a response from the league regarding his complaints from Wednesday night.
On Friday, Kayla McBride led Minnesota with 19 points. Each of the Lynx starters finished in double digits. Carlton and Alana Smith each had 12 points. Courtney Williams scored 15 points and Napheesa Collier added 14 points.
Jonquel Jones led New York with 21 points. Stewart had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
