Linda Hogan Reflects on Hulk Hogan’s Passing
Linda Hogan released a heartfelt statement on Thursday following the death of her ex-husband, Hulk Hogan.
In her first Instagram post after the news, she shared bittersweet memories of the “good old days,” expressing her struggle with the reality of his absence. “I didn’t think we’d lose him anytime soon,” she shared on Monday. “We genuinely believed he would come back! It’s devastating. It hits me hard. I loved Hulkster even more than he loved me. It hurt when he cheated, but he was a huge star.”
Linda, 65, also mentioned her profound sadness, saying, “I’ve been crying all day. It feels final and shocking. We had many years together. I loved him deeply. It’s just so sad.” She and Hogan, whose real name is Terry Borea, were married from 1983 until 2009 and had two children together: Brooke, 36, and Nick, 34.
Hogan, 71, was transported by ambulance from his Clearwater, Florida home early Thursday morning due to “cardiac arrest.” Reports indicated he passed away in the hospital.
While Linda has publicly criticized Hulk about their past, they shared fond memories just days prior to his passing. In a reflective post, she captioned an old photo of them as “Good old days!”
Authorities have stated that an autopsy is still pending but have noted there are no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Sky Daily, Hogan’s current wife, described his passing as “sudden” in an Instagram post on Friday. “I wasn’t prepared for this… my heart is shattered. He faced some health challenges, and we truly believed he would overcome them. I was very hopeful for his recovery,” she reflected. “This loss is sudden and hard to bear. To the world, he was a legend, but to me, he was my Terry—the man I loved.” She acknowledged Hogan’s connection to his fans, even amidst his declining health.
There had been swirling rumors about Hogan’s health just weeks before his death, including claims from a local radio show host that he was in a critical condition—a report that was denied by Hogan’s representatives and close friends.
Despite the speculation, Sky had recently refuted rumors about Hogan being in a coma and assured fans of his strength following neck surgery. Hogan had previously been married to Jennifer McDaniel from 2010 to 2022.
