Days before his passing, Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife shared nostalgic memories of their marriage. Hogan, 71, was taken by ambulance from his Clearwater, Florida home early Thursday, with reports indicating “cardiac arrest” during a 911 call, and a significant police presence was noted at the scene.
“Good old days!” Linda, 65, posted, accompanied by vintage photos of them together, though she didn’t mention when the snapshots were taken.
Some observers were surprised by her heartfelt message, especially given their history of public disagreements. Linda, whose real name is Terry Borea, was married to Hogan from 1983 until 2009. They have a 36-year-old daughter, Brooke, and a 34-year-old son, Nick.
In March, a visibly emotional Linda disclosed in an Instagram video that her family was in a “messy” situation, and revealed her estrangement from Brooke.
She had previously characterized Hogan as a “sex addict” and a “complete liar,” claiming she didn’t receive any benefits from their divorce despite her involvement in building their business.
The WWE officially confirmed Hogan’s death on Thursday.
“A pop culture icon, Hogan played a pivotal role in WWE’s rise to global fame during the 1980s. WWE sends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans,” the statement read.
Earlier this month, Hogan’s current wife, Sky Daily, dismissed rumors of him being in a coma, asserting that he has a “strong heart” and is recovering well from recent neck surgery, specifically a complex four-level cervical discectomy and fusion. She emphasized that there was no brain damage or oxygen deficiency.
“We’ve been going to and from hospitals to aid his recovery, so there’s really no need for escalation or worry,” she added, indicating that he was healing gradually.
After getting engaged two months ago, Hogan married 25-year-old Sky in September 2023. His children, Nick and Brooke, reportedly were present with their partners during the wedding, although Brooke did not attend. She later stated that she needed to create some distance for her own well-being.
Wishing her father well, she shared her hopes for his happiness.
Hogan’s previous marriage to Jennifer McDaniel lasted from 2010 to 2021.
