Alleged Stalker Claims Former Fleetwood Mac Member is Biological Father
An individual accused of stalking Lindsey Buckingham, a former member of Fleetwood Mac, has made shocking claims that he might be her biological father. During a statement made on Wednesday, she noted, “Once, it was last year. But I didn’t know he had a restraining order against me. He wasn’t a father to me, but he is my biological father.”
Michelle Dick, 54, contacted a news outlet confirming that she met Buckingham in Santa Monica on March 25; however, she did not characterize this encounter as aggressive. Authorities are aware of her situation but have yet to take any arrest actions.
A Los Angeles County judge has mandated that she keep her distance from Buckingham, as there was already a restraining order in place from 2024. Dick acknowledged approaching him recently, which seems to breach that order.
It’s reported that during their encounter, she allegedly threw an unknown substance at him. The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed the incident took place, stating their elite threat management unit is collaborating with local police on the investigation.
In previous statements, Buckingham has expressed confusion over Dick’s claims, stating, “I don’t understand [Michelle] and I’m not her father.” He has three children with his wife, Kristen Messner: William, born in 1998, followed by Lillie in 2000, and Stella in 2004.
Dick has claimed to have interacted with Buckingham since 2021, bombarding him and his family with numerous calls and messages, insisting she was his daughter. Over time, her behavior escalated to threats and demands for money, and in 2022, police instructed her to cease contact with the family. Although she stopped contacting the couple, her communication with Buckingham’s son William continued secretly.
Her harassment took a concerning turn in 2024 when she sent Buckingham disturbing images of herself and showed up uninvited at his home, resulting in her arrest. Following another incident in November 2024, where she made false emergency calls about violence, Buckingham was pulled from his home in handcuffs, leading to a permanent restraining order issued in December.
At the time of the latest incident, Dick was reportedly living in her car.
