Lindsey Graham Slams Zelensky over Refusal to Resign

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) criticized Zelensky for resigning Ukrainian President Voldimir Zelensky after refusing to resign after resigning from Graham's previous comments.

In the X post, Graham pointed “No one has a voice” until Ukraine votes.

Graham's post was sent in response to a reporter. I'll say it Graham proposed that he resigned after making some rude comments during a meeting with Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

In response, Zelensky described Lindsey Graham as a “very good man”, adding that he could “give” Ukrainian citizenship, “his voice begins to gain weight.”

“Unfortunately, no one has a voice in Ukraine until the election takes place,” Graham wrote.

As Katherine Hamilton of Breitbart News reported on Friday at an oval office meeting with Trump, Vance and Rubio, Zelensky criticized the European government and the former US presidential administration for “stop” Crimean president in 2014 and “unstopped” Russian President Vladimir Putin. Zelensky's criticism came after Vance proposed “engage in diplomacy” as the “path to peace.”

“What diplomacy, JD, do you speak? What does it mean?” Zelensky asked.

“I'm talking about the kind of diplomacy that will end the destruction of your country,” Vance replied.

When Zelensky tried to dismiss Vance's idea of diplomacy, Vance informed him that it was “disrespectful” to Zelensky “come to the oval office to try to sue this in front of the American media.”

“I think it would be rude to come to an oval office to sue this in front of the American media with respect,” Vance said. “Right now, you're having talent issues, so you're all going around and forcing the draft to the frontline. We should thank the President for trying to end this conflict.”

Zelensky questioned whether Vance had gone to Ukraine, and tried to challenge Vance's claim that Ukraine was “problem” with drafting, adding that “everyone is having problems” during the war.

“First of all, everyone has problems during the war,” Zelensky said. “Even you – but you have a lovely ocean and you don't feel it now, but you will feel it in the future.”

“You don't know that, you don't know that,” Trump said. “You shouldn't tell us what we are trying to feel. We are trying to solve the problem. You shouldn't tell us what we are trying to feel because you are not in a position to direct it. You are not in a position to direct what we are trying to feel.”

Trump also pointed out that the US helped Ukraine with military and financial aid after Zelensky implied that the Ukrainians were “only” in the war with Russia.

“You're not alone. We gave it to you [our] A stupid president, $35 billion,” Trump said. “We gave you military equipment. …If you hadn't had our military equipment, this war would have ended in two weeks.”

After the meeting, the White House confirmed that Zelensky was asked to leave and had not signed a mineral contract.

In the aftermath of the meeting, Trump issued Zelensky said “when America is involved, we are not ready for peace,” adding that Zelensky “disregarded America in its precious oval office.”
